Wedding Silk Flowers: How You Order & Pay

  • You can order online wedding silk flowers selected directly from our online Catalog of 'standard' designs by putting them into a shopping cart and then paying on a secure server using your credit card. If you encounter any problem during your online transaction please contact us right away for our assistance in the process.

  • If you do not see what you are looking for in our Catalog, please contact us for personal free consultation with one of our designers (conducted preferrably via email correspondence) so we can create your custom wedding artificial flowers in style, flower content and colors suitable to your needs.

  • If you want to see a sample of our work you are welcome to purchase directly from our Catalog, through the shopping cart, a hair flower, boutonniere or a corsage in one of our standard designs. Please keep in mind that none of the items in the Catalog is pre-made - all arrangements, even smallest ones, are made to order.

  • You may use a convenient and simple  E-Mail Contact Form placed on Contact Us page or a user-friendly Custom Silk Flower Wedding Packages page you can access from View Our Catalog drop-down menu.We can also discuss your needs on the phone. You do not have to adhere strictly to rigid 'policies and procedures' while communicating to us your needs (and for us to be attentive to your needs). Nor do we need to have a detailed "quote form" for you to fill out and for providing you with efficient customer service. However, do not expect us to spend time working on design ideas and a quote in response to your one- or two-sentence inquiry. We will certainly need more information and we will ask you direct and precise questions.

  • When we conclude your personal consultation process (conducted through email exchange and/or telephone communication), resulting in a mutual understanding of all details of your customized or custom order, we will add the shipping & handling costs and taxes (if applicable), and get back to you with the total amount you will have to pay. Then we will email you an online payment form you will be able to safely activate for your credit card payment on a secure server of either PayPal or Internet Secure (PayPal is now our sole processing gateway for direct shopping cart purchases from the site). This way we do not ever have to ask you (on the phone or via email) for your confidential credit card information. As you fill the payment form yourself and the data pertaining to your credit card is encrypted in the process, we never even know it, less keep it on file! So be very careful with online sellers that talk about the fraud protection and internet scams but they acquire and keep your credit card information in their files.

  • All data you submit with your direct shopping cart order or through the online payment form goes to a securely encrypted site (PayPal for the former and Internet Secure for the latter), which processes your payment, automatically computing the total amount with shipping costs and taxes (if any), included.
  • Once the transaction is done you will instantly receive, via email, your copy of Purchase Approval/Payment Record with all details of your order and figures of your payment. No lengthy, old-fashioned contracts to study, print, sign and fax or (e)mail back. We have never needed a "contract" to invoke and build trust and to deliver what and when we promised (by now, to thousands of satisfied clients). We value your and our time! When you have details of a content of your floral items determined in writing through email exchange, a subsequent quote and a payment receipt, you are covered more than with any "contract". 
  • If you owe us a balance for your wedding silk flowers, your remaining amount must be paid at least 45 days before the set shipping date. If a customer does not pay the balance within a week since a set date range, we will re-schedule completion and shipping timelines to a spot still available on our processing agenda at the time the balance is finally paid.
  • We cannot accept, assess and implement any proposed design adjustments later than 45 days before your set shipping timeline. By then your project is fitted into a precise time slot for physical processing on our workshop agenda and most materials and flowers for it are put aside. After that we cannot guarantee different/ more flowers/ colors as they may not be available 'in a hurry' (being assigned for other booked customers or in the process of re-stocking). We may also have no additional time and/ or manpower to stop, review, re-design and re-work an already well devised and mutally accepted concept trying to incorporate your last minute ideas (that may not be even suitable).  
  • Sales tax is calculated only for the orders shipped within Canada (5% GST). For orders shipped within the Province of Ontario 8% of PST is also added.
  • All prices of silk wedding arrangements in the Catalog are in U.S. Dollars.
  • We can customize certain (not all) 'standard' silk wedding arrangements displayed on this site to your specific requirements, at an additional charge. Please contact us with the details.
  • Our online or/and telephone consultations are free of charge. 

Your Silk Wedding Arrangements: When & How We Ship

  • Please order as early in advance of your wedding as possible. Our workshop agenda, at any given time of the year, is filled with orders scheduled to be completed and dispatched at various times, even a year in advance. Luckilly, we have incomparably larger order processing capacity than any other online silk florist. Therefore, although we receive a constant stream of orders, we do not fully book up as fast as shops with only one florist/ limited staff. But it does not mean that you should postpone placing your order with us. Purchasing directly or sending your initial inquiry some four to six months before your wedding date should give you, in most cases, a sufficient 'time safety zone'.

  • Current availability expressed as a next consecutive month(s) with still open remaining completion timelines is posted in the top left field (Serving You Better) on each page of this site.    

  • Timelines of completion vary, depending on: a) how many orders we have to fulfill at the time of your order, b) how big your order is, and c) where you are. Therefore, in case you purchase directly through the shopping cart a bouquet and/or bigger order, please contact us shortly after you receive your transaction confirmation. We will discuss with you, assess and set mutually convenient completion timeline and shipping date of your items. 

  • If, at the time you are reading this, you need your bride's bouquet and/or a bigger order completed and delivered before September 30, 2010, we will not be able, regretfully, to accommodate you. If for before end of October 2010 - a rush completion surcharge will apply (if we are still able to fulfill your prospective rush order). Please contact us for details.

  • Silk hair flowers and other small arrangements like corsages and boutonnieres, ordered individually and/or in small numbers have their own, dedicated and short (presently about two to three weeks)  completion timelines. Current time frames for creating those are uploaded in respective sections of our online Catalog.  

  • To protect your privacy, prevent the identity theft of your personal information and assure the safety and confidentiality of your transaction and your subsequent shipment:  You will never find your name on our website in any shape or form (before and/or after your purchase), nor your package's tracking number (while you wait for your shipment). We will email you directly with your package's tracking number (available with most modes of shipping) within two days after we dispatch one.

  • If you want faster (rush) completion and/or delivery, or if you reside outside of the U.S. or Canada, contact us and we will use other modes of shipping, better suited to your situation.

  • We do not ship COD, nor do we ship to PO or APO/FPO Box addresses.
  • Your silk wedding arrangements are packed individually and wrapped in tissue paper to hold their shapes (and properly protected with other materials for safe shipping). Corsages and boutonnieres are placed in transparent, small boxes and all items are appropriately labeled.
  • Regardless of how busy we are, the workmanship quality of wedding silk flowers you have ordered is never being compromised. They should arrive at your place in perfect condition.

  • As we all live in the less than a perfect world, losses of and damages to shipments in transit do occur, although extremely rarely. Once your properly packed and labeled package leaves our studio and has the assigned tracking number, it is the job of a shipping company to deliver it to your place in good condition and in timely matter. Therefore, if your package arrives damaged, or does not arrive at your place at all, please intervene with the customer service of a shipping company (especially if it can be traced online all the way to your area and then suddenly 'gets lost'). And we can certainly guide you how to deal with the customer service of a shipping company to recover your package/ assert your claim. 

Returns & Refunds

Hibiscus Florals strives for 100% customer satisfaction and we give you the personal attention you deserve. We want you to be pleased with your purchase of our unique silk wedding arrangements. Therefore, if you are concerned with what you have received, please contact us immediately and we will work out either a partial or full replacement, or refund (minus 20% covering credit card and payment gateway charges, and re-stocking costs).

  • Silk wedding arrangements being returned must be in original packaging and sent back to us within 10 days of receiving it, but only after we authorize the return. We will not accept returns if sent after a wedding date. Returned orders must not be damaged, used or with items and/or flowers missing.
  • Custom orders are non-refundable. A custom order is one designed to your needs and is not shown in the online catalog.

  • Hair flowers are non-refundable, due to hygienic reasons. You would not like to own a hair flower someone else was wearing in one's hair!  

  • Refunds will be issued within four weeks after we receive your returned wedding silk flowers you had ordered from us.
  • We do not refund shipping fees and customs charges (if any).

  • If you place an order in error and inform us immediately, we will issue a full refund minus $7.00 covering the credit card and payment gateway processing costs.

Currently, our October 2010 workshop processing agenda is full while November will soon run out of stil available remaining completion timelines. Therefore, if your wedding is in the late Fall or Winter of 2010, or sometime in 2011 and beyond, we are ready to serve your floral needs.
